Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful Valentines Day! So in today's post, I'm going to be talking about how to put together an outfit for different occasions. I hope you guys enjoy!
• School
For school, you definitely can range from sweat pants and a t-shirt to a casual dress, nothing fancier than that. My go-to school outfit is a crop top and high waisted jeans. It's not too much, but it's not too little either. I usually do whatever I want to my hair for school, but I usually go for french braid tiebacks or a waterfall braid.
• Weekends
You should definitely NOT dress up at all on weekends unless you're going somewhere. Like, really, don't waste a cute outfit on a day no one is going to see you. Like today, for example, I'm wearing a oversized sweatshirt and high waisted jeans. Don't dress to impress because you're going to end up wasting a perfectly good outfit. For hair, I usually like pulling it out of my face in a messy bun, high ponytail, or a top knot.
• Parties
Most parties are semi-formal, so I usually just go with a high waisted skirt and a more dressy crop top and then go all-out with makeup. The last party that I went to a few weeks ago was at a indoor roller coaster park, and a crop top and skirt were perfect because I was comfortable, but still looked nice.
• Concerts
I've only been to one concert before (a Selena Gomez concert when I was really young) but I'm actually good at concert fashion. I would go with a t-shirt with the band or singer you're going to see on it tucked into high waisted shorts with a flower crown that matches your shirt and for shoes, I would do more "fashionable" sneakers, like Vans or Keds. Keep the makeup very light. I would do a bit of liquid eyeliner and waterproof mascara (because I know that if I went to a One Direction concert I would be crying my eyes out) and a bold lip color, and a high ponytail with braided accents for hair.
• School Concerts
Being in an advanced orchestra at school, I have A LOT of concerts. For most of my concerts, the dress code is black and white. For my last concert, I wore a white lace crop top, high waisted black jeans, and black heels (not that I need them, I'm already really tall for my age). For makeup, I went with liquid liner, mascara, and pink lip gloss and for hair, I did a high ponytail with braided accents.
